The parameters of each steam turbine are always based on local conditions and customer requirements. Blades and mechanical parts are always optimized for maximum efficiency in a specific operation. Unified sizes of turbine housings and other related components are preferred in technical design of machines.
If you require a turbine other than the unified solution (e.g. you require a special steam extraction, dual input steam), we can design a turbine according to your specifications, including a special turbine housing.
The turbine mechanism is a key part of a power source; however, it would not be able to fulfil its function without the surrounding systems and accessories. They include a condensation system, power outlet, drainage of turbine and steam piping, steam piping, backup voltage for emergency run-down of the machine, etc. It is important to correctly match the technical properties under all operating conditions.
Optionally, we can supply these surrounding systems with the turbine. We can also offer assembly and complete implementation at the customer’s site, including commissioning, operator training and after-sales service. In this case, the customer will benefit from easier coordination during the design and implementation process. The customer will also have a wider technical guarantee of the complete system parameters.
For the common types and sizes of turbines, we use standard series. They cover most common applications and customer requests, significantly reducing the time from ordering to delivery of the machine. Another advantage of the unification are lower production costs, resulting in favourable prices for the customer.
Low-power turbines have the gearbox and generator on a single base frame. Medium-power turbines only have the turbine and gearbox on a common frame. The arrangement on steel frame allows a quick and easy assembly on the machine.
The unification and standardization go beyond the scope of production, helping in creating project documentation. The unified components and subsystems contribute to an efficient and rapid creation of technical project documentation.
Project management of a contract and the associated documents are based on the past knowledge and experience of the project team and production department. The contract plans and particularly the subsequent reports on its implementation provide the customer with a comprehensive overview of the implementation.
The documentation would not be complete without documentation of quality. The inspection and testing plans are brought into line with the customer’s requirements and participation requirements during their implementation. For some key inspections and tests, there may be agreed acceptance by an external international authority. All the important records and displayed protocols are also delivered together with the equipment.
